The library appreciates your interest in donating to us. We will gladly accept donations of your new or gently used books, CDs, DVDs and BluRays. Out of consideration for others, we request that you do not drop donations in the book returns or leave them in bags and boxes outside the library. A form letter for tax purposes is available upon request; however the estimated valuation of the donation is the responsibility of the donor.
Unfortunately, the library is unable to use donations of textbooks, encyclopedias, magazines (including National Geographic) or materials that are musty, dirty, stained, yellowed, or worn. Please, no VHS tapes, cassette tapes, games or puzzles.
Good news — many other organizations will gladly accept the material that we cannot use! Here is a list of alternative places where you can go to recycle, donate, sell any materials not suitable for library donation.
Curbside Recycling
Recycling helps the environment! You can easily recycle your unwanted books and magazines along with your household paper recycling.
