our Franklin Township Library card can be used to obtain privileges at the libraries listed below. To register at a reciprocal library, you need to do so at a time when both libraries are open so that your borrowing status can be verified.
Reciprocal borrowers registering with FTPL will need to both show their home town library card, photo ID and proof of current street address (e.g. a current driver’s license.) Acceptable alternatives can be found here: https://www.franklintwp.org/library-cards/
Your library accounts will not be linked. For example, items borrowed from FTPL must be renewed with or returned to our library to avoid possible late fees.
In addition, you may have limited access to some services and borrowing polices will vary. Please check with individual libraries for details. Reciprocal library cards issued at FTPL cannot be used to: reserve meeting room spaces, check out Museum Passes, place Inter-Library Loan or Purchase Requests, or access our digital collections (i.e.: e-books, e-movies, databases, etc.)
