It’s spooky season! This year, every week in October we’ll be highlighting two horror movies from our digital collections available via Kanopy, Hoopla, or both.
Each film this week features a landscape transformed in horrific ways. First is Alex Garland’s Annihilation starring Natalie Portman adapted from Jeff VanderMeer’s South Reach Trilogy (again, don’t sleep on the books). Next up is Richard Stanley’s Color Out of Space, starring Nicholas Cage, based on the H. P. Lovecraft story of the same name.
