The AARP Foundation Tax-Aide program is now available at the DeMott Lane branch! This service provides free in-person tax preparation to all county residents, but with an emphasis on older adults, residents with disabilities, and lower-income residents who need help preparing federal and New Jersey income tax returns. AARP membership is not required. Volunteers are trained and IRS-certified every year. Assistance is by appointment only. Appointments can be made by calling (908) 541-5710. Please note: scheduling is done solely by AARP, not through FTPL staff.
