Weekend Fun: Puppets!
Robert Rogers Puppet Company presents …Postponed to October 24!
The BIG news is that we’ve postponed the Robert Rogers Puppet Show because of the rain predicted:
The Hobnobbin’ Goblins Marionette Puppet Show will now be held on Sunday, October 24, at 2:00 p.m. in the Gazebo outside the Library on DeMott Lane. We hope you can attend! Bring a picnic blanket to sit on for this spooky, but not scary, Halloween event. Please register for this outdoor event.
The BETTER news is that the show must go on! To stir up your imagination and creativity, Robert has agreed that we can share the Fun-at-Home Projects page from his website!
Visit http://www.robertrogerspuppets.com/fun-at-home.html to make three puppets following Robert’s video instructions. You can make a fish, a snake in a cup, or a frog – or make all three! All the materials are things you would find at home, like a pencil, paper plates, and a paper cup. Robert’s video instructions are very clear. You can work along with him and pause whenever you need more time.
Then watch the two short puppet shows on the Fun-at Home Projects page – The Fox and the Grapes (5 minutes) and Bugtown Follies (2 minutes) – presented by Robert Rogers to inspire you to do a show with the puppets you’ve made!
Don’t forget to register for the Robert Rogers Puppet Company’s Hobnobbin’ Goblins Marionette Puppet Show!
