Concert: Katherine Saxton (Irish Harp) – Sunday, June 6 at 2:00 PM

Pie!: A History – Tuesday, June 15 at 6:30 PM
In this fun talk, Sarah Lohman will look at the origins of pie, including meat pies and ‘coffins.’ Then we’ll delve deep into the history of pumpkin pie and apple pie, stopping for digressions into the pumpkin spice flavor craze and the history of competitive pie eating! Lohman is a culinary historian and the author of the bestelling book Eight Flavors: The Untold Story of American Cuisine. Click here to register.

Arm Chair Art Tour: Man and Dog in the Middle Ages – Wednesday, June 23 at 7:00 PM
Through medieval artworks, some from the Met’s Cloisters Museum, discover how different breeds of dog remained humankind’s constant companion in the castle, in the fields, and on the hunt–even if that hunt was a fantasy of chasing a unicorn! Presented by Dr. Michael Norris, who spent 20 years at the Cloisters Museum and the Metropolitan Museum of Art and has lectured all over the world. Click here to register.

Death Cafe – Thursday, June 24 at 7:00 PM
Participate in an open discussion on death and dying. Death Cafe is where we can openly discuss our thoughts on this “taboo” topic in a safe and respectful setting. Death Cafe is not a grief, counseling, support, or research group and is not recommended for anyone who is uncomfortable speaking about death. Bring your favorite drink and snack and be prepared to join the discussion! Click here to register.

Workforce Wednesday: The MultiGenerational Workplace – Wednesday, June 9 at 10:00 AM
There are currently five generations in the workforce, and employers are faced with mass-retirements of Baby Boomers are looking for ways to prepare for the changes that will result. This webinar explores the history and reality of the generation gap. Presented by Jan Goodman, the Community Outreach Specialist for the Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Center. FTPL Virtual Book Club – Saturday, June 19 at 12:00 PM

English as a Second Language Class – Tuesdays in June at 2:00 PM

Pet Loss Support Group – Sunday, June 20 at 1:15 PM
