Christmas Tree Ornament
What you need:
1 craft stick with threaded with a string
5 strips of craft paper (approx. ½” x 8”) in assorted colors and patterns
2 stars with Glue Dots
Scissors
Glue stick
What you do:
- Fold the strips of paper in half.
- Apply glue inside the first strip and fold it over the craft stick near the bottom. TIP: The bottom is the end without the string.
- Cut the next strip with scissors so that it is a little shorter than the first one.
TIP: If you pick up the craft kit at the Children’s Desk in the Main Library, this part is already done for you.
- Apply glue inside the second strip and fold it over the craft stick just above the first one.
- Repeat steps 3 and 4 with the three remaining strips.
- Apply the Glue Dots to the stars and place them back to back at the top (it’s okay to cover the string hole)
Hang the ornament on your tree or in a window and have a Happy Holiday!
