Our presentation of The Emoji Movie didn’t happen in July due to technical difficulties, and people asked if we would show it in the future.
Yes, we will! Come on Sunday, September 30, at 2:00 p.m. for the Family Film Picnic showing of The Emoji Movie!
What’s a Family Film Picnic? Bring your picnic blanket and a snack and spread out on the floor of the library community room to enjoy this funny animated movie on our large screen. The equipment works fine now, and the picnic blanket allows more movement for the children, who sometimes like to sprawl or even get up and dance.
When the film is over, fold up your blanket, crumbs and all, and take it with you!
The Emoji Movie is about the town of Textopolis, where the emojis in your smartphone live, and features a new emoji who can’t find the emotion he is supposed to represent. (Rated PG, 91 minutes).
Please register to reserve your space on the floor! Chairs are available for those who prefer them. Register online, in person, or call the Children’s Desk (732-873-8700 ext. 112).
Children younger than 11 years must be with an adult at all times. All abilities are welcome!
