We’ve prepared special events for families during the school break between the December holidays and the new year:
Community Coloring: Stop by whenever the library is open to add your coloring skills to a tabletop poster in front of the Children’s Desk. We have special colored pencils available. All ages and abilities are welcome to participate, from toddlers to adults. Feel free to add more coloring to something that was started by someone else to build layers of color, shading, and dimension. This event will be available from Tuesday, December 26 through Saturday, December 30.
Family Film Cafe: Leap! (PG; 89 minutes)
Wednesday, December 27, at 12:30 p.m.
Bring a picnic lunch or snack to enjoy as you watch this recent release on our large screen. About the movie: Two orphans, Victor and Felicie, travel to Paris in a leap of faith to pursue their passions of inventing and studying dance. Please register to reserve a table.
Children younger than 11 years must be with an adult at all times.
