Join us this Friday, July 15th as The Next Stage Ensemble of the Shakespeare Theatre of NJ returns to perform an abridged production of William Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night. Written in 1601 or 1602, Twelfth Night is one of Shakespeare’s most popular comedies. It has enjoyed a lasting legacy. The play has inspired numerous film adaptations, including the popular 2006 teen film, She’s the Man. Shipwrecked on an island far from home, Viola disguises herself as a man and seeks employ in the home of a powerful and love-struck Duke. Mistaken identities, misplaced love, and music make this play perfect for a fun summer matinee.
This event will take place Friday, July 15th from 2:00-3:00 pm in the Community Room. This is an adult program, but teens and older elementary students are welcome to attend with an adult. Registration is requested; sign up here.
