Library Cards

By registering for a library card the cardholder agrees to:
  • Accept responsibility for any use of the cards.
  • Present the card when required for transactions.
  • Follow all library policies and procedures.
  • Pay all fines and fees.
  • Report promptly if card is lost or stolen or there is a change of address or telephone number.

You can still get a library card. Please bring a photo ID (such as a passport).

If your ID shows only a P.O. Box you will need to bring separate proof of address. This could be any of the following documents:

  • Any government issued mail, in your name, received within the past 30 days.
  • A utility bill, in your name, received within the last 30 days.

Minors aged 17 and younger can register with a parent or legal guardian’s signature and proof of address. Minors must be present at the time of registration.

A library card is available for you! Along with valid ID (driver’s license, passport, or government issued ID) applicants must show a current employee ID or pay stub to prove that they qualify for free membership.

Don’t live in one of the towns listed above? Non-resident cards are available for a yearly fee of only $50.00

Library cards must be periodically updated. At that time, patrons are required to show ID and proof of residency to renew borrowing privileges.

The library provides all new users with a free wallet and keychain copy of their library card. There is a $3.00 charge to replace a lost card. Please report a lost card here.

  • To borrow entertainment videos patrons must join the Video Club. Membership is available for patrons 18 & over (unless a parent/legal guardian gives consent.)
  • To join, pay a one-time, non-refundable fee of $10.00 for a 60 year membership.
  • There is no charge to borrow entertainment movies
  • Video loan periods, limits, renewals and late fees:
    • New releases – 2 day loan, limit 1 at a time, no renewal, $1.50 per day overdue.
    • Older entertainment videos – 7 day loan, limit 10 at a time, 2 renewals, $1.00 per day overdue.
