The cornerstone box for the new Post Office in New Brunswick, N.J. It's lid lies next to it and the files, newspapers and two books inside it can clearly be seen. Cornerstone boxes act as time capsules so that when the building is, eventually, demolished people can see what life was like when it was built. The open box sits on either a wooden desk or counter in front of a door.
