Elton H. L. Wade and Family :
The "Bunch"
The "Bunch". A pair of couples posed in the road way. Elton and Sarah Wade are on the right. The other woman appears to be Lelia Wade. The unknown man on the left is holding a camera and wearing clothing that looks like he's been camping or hiking. His pants, tight at the knee and with a calf-length secondary covering buttoned on, look like the uniform of a World War I "dough boy". The cross medal hanging from his pocket is an Iron Cross, which was awarded from the early 1800s on by the Prussians and later the Germans.

Elton, Sarah and Lelia are well-dressed, in comparison. Lelia's coat has a fur collar and she has a fob watch clipped to her top. Both she and Sarah are wearing other pieces of jewelry: necklaces, rings, etc. The ladies white shoes are almost entirely clean, so they have not been walking a long ways on the dirt road they are posed on.
