Elton H. L. Wade and Family :
Mr. & Mrs. J.L. Totten in Totten home
John L. Totten and Sarah (Van Middlesworth) Totten in their sitting room at home. On the right, there is a rocking chair in front of an upright piano and its bench. A fringed standing lamp is positioned to shed light both for pianists and anyone sitting in the chair before the window. The large window embrasure includes a window seat that appears to open. It's lined with a few cushions. Behind John is an old-style radio with a large horn. On the wall behind the radio's horn is a long but short art piece depicting boats on a body of water. The small table on the left holds a porcelain lamp with a shade that shows a forested scene. There are books and papers on the table. The book nearest John's hand seems to be a Bible. The lower part of the table holds magazines. Part of another chair can be seen in the left forefront. Most of the room is carpeted by a large oriental rug. There is a small oriental rug in front of the large window.
